Google Tensor G3 launched in 2023 for flagship Pixel smartphones. Built on a 4 nm process, it has 9 CPU cores in total and a maximum clock speed of 2.91 GHz. It first appeared in the Pixel 8 smartphone series.
Tensor G3 upgrades the ISP and Imaging DSP and adds a new-generation TPU for Google models. Its built-in Tensor security core works with Titan M2. Photo, video and speech processing are central to the platform.
