MediaTek introduced the Dimensity 8450 in 2025 for performance-focused upper-mid-range smartphones. Built on a 4 nm process, it has eight CPU cores in total and reaches a maximum clock speed of 3.25 GHz. The first smartphone to use it was the OPPO Reno14 Pro.
