Apple will commit up to $100 million over three years to its partnership with titanium producer Perryman, including supplies for iPhone Duo. The announcement concerns materials and components, rather than a move of final phone assembly.

Apple is also expanding work with Qnity Electronics on films for the iPhone 18 Pro variable-aperture camera. It says US companies produce nearly 100 components across the two models.
