Developer Vicki Pfau has worked on Valve's behalf to add initial Linux support for Nintendo Switch 2 controllers. Phoronix reports that the work covers Joy-Con 2, Pro Controller 2 and the Switch Online GameCube controller.

The initial support focuses on basic USB input. Full Bluetooth pairing and advanced features still require work, so this does not mean every function is available in every Linux distribution.
