Cons
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
The 128GB and 256GB versions have a five-core CPU and 16-core Neural Engine. Only 512GB gets a six-core CPU and Dual 16-core Neural Engine, so storage affects processing hardware too.
Pencil and case cost extra. Advertised fast charging needs a 35W or higher adapter; the US box includes a 20W adapter. Contents vary by market.
Apple Intelligence and Siri AI availability depends on language and region. Check whether the features you want are supported.
There is no physical SIM slot. Your carrier must support tablet eSIM; the cellular connection is data-only.
How do we assess advantages and disadvantages?
Our editorial assessment draws on specifications, manufacturer documentation and available material about the model. It does not imply our own laboratory testing. We distinguish physical RAM from virtual expansion; features and box contents can vary by market. Reference prices are conversions; check the store for the final price of an offer.
