Size is part of everyday use
With a 6.9-inch screen and a weight of 249 g, the Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max is noticeable in a hand or pocket. Video has plenty of room, but reaching the top one-handed is awkward, and a case adds bulk.
Storage needs planning
There is no microSD slot. If you record lots of video or keep an offline media library, choose enough storage at purchase: you cannot add a card later, and cloud storage needs an internet connection.
Fast USB needs the right cable
USB 3 transfer speeds require a cable rated for them. A basic charging cable does not unlock maximum copying speed, so a workflow with large video projects needs the right accessories.
