Pros
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
A straightforward touchscreen
The Apple iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch screen that gives menus, short messages and photos a clear place on the front of the phone. Touch controls keep everyday actions direct.
A familiar Home button
Touch ID puts fingerprint unlocking in the Home button. If you like having a physical reference point for returning to the home screen, this layout may suit you better than gestures.
4K video recording
The camera can record 4K video. That gives you more detail for a larger screen and some room for cropping during editing, though the files take up more storage.
