The ASUS ROG Phone 9 uses Snapdragon 8 Elite, fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. That provides plenty of headroom for games, photo editing and switching apps. Sustained workloads still generate heat, so peak speed is not guaranteed in every situation.
AirTrigger adds touch controls on the edge, while the side USB-C port keeps the charging cable out of your grip in landscape games. The AMOLED display supports up to 185 Hz, although available modes and frame rates depend on the game and settings.
The 5800 mAh battery supports 65 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging. Use a compatible adapter for a quicker top-up or place it on a Qi pad for convenience. Actual endurance depends on workload and reception.
