Cons
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
There is only 32 GB of storage, some of which is used by the system. A memory card helps with photos and music but cannot replace internal storage for every app. A large game library will soon become a problem.
The UNISOC SC9863A1 is aimed at straightforward everyday tasks. It has limited headroom for demanding games or quickly switching between many apps. Mobile connectivity is limited to 4G, with no 5G support.
The 480×854 resolution is a compromise in cost and power use. Small fonts and fine photo details will look less crisp than on Full HD+, and a large screen does not make up for that.
Charging at 5 W is modest for a 3000 mAh battery. A brief stop before heading out will not refill it completely, so plan time for a longer charging session.
