CMF by Nothing Watch Pro — Disadvantages

Cons

Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.

There is no NFC or LTE/eSIM. You cannot pay at a shop with the watch, and ordinary phone calls require a nearby smartphone. It also lacks the Google Play app store found on Wear OS.

You can control music playing on your phone, but cannot connect Bluetooth headphones directly to the watch. You still need your phone for music on a run.

IP68 protects against dust and accidental water exposure, but the watch is not intended for swimming or hot showers. Take it off before water activities.

The first Watch Pro needs manual brightness adjustment because it has no ambient-light sensor. Moving between indoors and bright sunlight is less convenient than with automatic adjustment.

How do we assess advantages and disadvantages?

Our editorial assessment draws on specifications, manufacturer documentation and available material about the model. It does not imply our own laboratory testing. We distinguish physical RAM from virtual expansion; features and box contents can vary by market. Reference prices are conversions; check the store for the final price of an offer.
