Cons
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
This Wi-Fi version has no SIM-based mobile data. Away from a wireless network, you will need to tether your phone.
MediaTek Helio G85 is best suited to simple tasks. Demanding games and many apps running together can push it hard, especially in configurations with less RAM.
A 1340 × 800 resolution on a 8.7-inch screen is modest: small text and photo detail look less crisp than on Full HD or 2K panels. The 60 Hz refresh rate also lacks the smoothness of 90–120 Hz displays.
USB 2.0 limits large file transfers. Having a USB-C connector does not give this model USB 3.x speeds.
How do we assess advantages and disadvantages?
Our editorial assessment draws on specifications, manufacturer documentation and available material about the model. It does not imply our own laboratory testing. We distinguish physical RAM from virtual expansion; features and box contents can vary by market. Reference prices are conversions; check the store for the final price of an offer.
