Lenovo ThinkTab X11 Gen 1 Wi-Fi — Disadvantages

Smartphone editorial team · Updated:

Cons

Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.

ThinkTab X11 prioritises work use, so it is thicker and heavier than a typical media tablet. Its cellular version is data-only and does not support traditional carrier voice calls.

This Wi-Fi version has no SIM-based mobile data. Away from a wireless network, you will need to tether your phone.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 has limited headroom for demanding games at high graphics settings. A high screen refresh rate does not mean every game will run at the same frame rate.

The LCD cannot match OLED black levels. That difference is worth considering if you often watch films in a dark room.

At around 650 g, the tablet can feel heavy during long handheld sessions. A case and keyboard add more weight, so a desk is more comfortable for extended work.

How do we assess advantages and disadvantages?

Our editorial assessment draws on specifications, manufacturer documentation and available material about the model. It does not imply our own laboratory testing. We distinguish physical RAM from virtual expansion; features and box contents can vary by market. Reference prices are conversions; check the store for the final price of an offer.
