Wi-Fi 7 makes sense when upgrading the network alongside compatible phones and laptops. It provides a newer wireless standard, rather than a guarantee of advertised speeds on every client.

RouterOS offers detailed routing, access rules and VPN configuration. It suits users who want more control than a basic setup wizard provides.
Wired connectivity
WAN: Configurable in RouterOS. LAN: 3 x 1 Gbps; 1 x 2.5 Gbps (assignable roles). Compare this port layout with the PCs, TVs and other wired devices you need to connect. A shared WAN/LAN port serves its selected role; it is not two separate ports.
