Cons
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7400 is primarily aimed at everyday use. Messages, video and navigation are within its comfort zone, but demanding games need lower graphics settings. A high screen refresh rate does not guarantee matching frame rates in every game.
There is no microSD slot, so storage cannot be expanded with a card. The system and apps use some of the 256 GB. If you record plenty of video, you will need to move files to a computer or cloud storage periodically.
The USB-C port is limited to USB 2.0 data speeds. That is fine for charging, but large videos and backups take longer to copy over a cable. Keep this in mind if you regularly transfer tens of gigabytes to a computer.
