Cons
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
Curved screen edges look striking but do not suit everyone. They can catch reflections, and fitting a screen protector is less straightforward than on a flat panel. Try holding the phone before buying to see whether the shape suits you.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 is primarily aimed at everyday use. Messages, video and navigation are within its comfort zone, but demanding games need lower graphics settings. A high screen refresh rate does not guarantee matching frame rates in every game.
The USB-C port is limited to USB 2.0 data speeds. That is fine for charging, but large videos and backups take longer to copy over a cable. Keep this in mind if you regularly transfer tens of gigabytes to a computer.
