OSCAL TIGER 8 — Disadvantages

Cons

Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.

The UNISOC T8100 is a sensible fit for everyday apps, but demanding games may need lower graphics settings. A high display refresh rate alone does not guarantee an equally high frame rate in games.

The 720×1640 resolution is a compromise in cost and power use. Small fonts and fine photo details will look less crisp than on Full HD+, and a large screen does not make up for that.

Charging at 18 W is modest for a 5000 mAh battery. A brief stop before heading out will not refill it completely, so plan time for a longer charging session.

The camera setup is basic, with a 16 MP main camera and a 8 MP front camera. It is aimed at documents and simple shots in good light; do not expect the low-light versatility of a more expensive camera-focused phone.
