Pros
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
Strong processing platform
The Dimensity 8500-Ultra and LPDDR5X / UFS 4.1 memory provide useful headroom for demanding apps and multitasking. Gaming is a key attraction, although performance depends on settings and temperature.
Fast wired charging
Support for 100W charging is useful for a quick top-up before leaving home. Maximum speed requires a compatible charger and cable; power varies throughout the charging cycle.
IP68 body protection
IP68 adds dust and water resistance under conditions specified by the manufacturer. It offers more protection than a splash-only rating, though wear can reduce the effectiveness of the seals.
