Cons
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
Mobile data is limited to 4G, with no 5G support. That is enough for messaging, navigation and ordinary video streaming, but the phone cannot take advantage of newer 5G networks. Consider this if you plan to keep it for several years.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 is primarily aimed at everyday use. Messages, video and navigation are within its comfort zone, but demanding games need lower graphics settings. A high screen refresh rate does not guarantee matching frame rates in every game.
There is no dedicated telephoto camera. Distant subjects rely on digital zoom, which loses fine textures as you zoom further. A phone with optical zoom is more convenient for concerts, wildlife or portraits from a distance.
