Cons
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 is primarily aimed at everyday use. Messages, video and navigation are within its comfort zone, but demanding games need lower graphics settings. A high screen refresh rate does not guarantee matching frame rates in every game.
There is no dedicated telephoto camera. Distant subjects rely on digital zoom, which loses fine textures as you zoom further. A phone with optical zoom is more convenient for concerts, wildlife or portraits from a distance.
A 6.72-inch screen also means a large phone. Reaching the upper corners one-handed is awkward, and it takes up considerable pocket space. If you prefer compact phones, try the grip before buying.
