Pros
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
realme Watch 5 has a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 450 resolution. Its contrast makes notifications, time and workout figures easy to read, while Always-on Display keeps the time visible without raising your wrist.
Built-in GPS records walks and runs without a phone. Heart-rate, SpO2 and sleep tracking, along with workout modes, help you follow changes in your activity.
realme rates typical battery life at up to 16 days, which is handy if you want fewer devices to charge every day. This is a laboratory estimate: an always-on screen, frequent calls shorten battery life.
The microphone and speaker let you answer Bluetooth calls without taking out your phone. The watch works with Android and iPhone; realme Link is the current companion app.
How do we assess advantages and disadvantages?
Our editorial assessment draws on specifications, manufacturer documentation and available material about the model. It does not imply our own laboratory testing. We distinguish physical RAM from virtual expansion; features and box contents can vary by market. Reference prices are conversions; check the store for the final price of an offer.
