A large 7000mAh battery
Capacity is noticeably higher than the 5000mAh found in many phones. That gives you a useful reserve for travel, navigation and long calls. Capacity alone cannot promise a fixed number of days away from a socket, since the large screen and mobile connection also use power.
A large screen with smooth scrolling
The 6.9-inch screen gives maps, reading and videos plenty of room. Its 2340 × 1080 resolution is sharper than HD+, while up to 144Hz makes scrolling smoother in supported apps. Game frame rates still depend on the processor and settings.
Room for a memory card
The microSD slot supports cards up to 2TB, so photos, music and videos do not all have to live in internal storage. That is handy when travelling without reliable internet. The card does take the second SIM’s place, though.
