A useful battery reserve
The 6000mAh battery gives calls, messages and navigation a useful energy reserve. That helps when you are away from a socket during the day. Actual runtime depends on screen brightness, reception and how you use the phone.
UFS 2.2 storage
Redmi A7 Pro uses UFS 2.2 storage, whereas the regular A7 has eMMC 5.1. It is a nicer choice for installing apps and handling files. Still, 4GB of RAM and an entry-level chip limit demanding tasks.
microSD and a headphone socket
A microSD card provides more room for photos and videos. The 3.5mm socket also allows standard wired headphones to connect without an adapter.
