Cons
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
No storage expansion
There is no microSD slot, so storage capacity needs to be chosen carefully. Large games and offline videos consume space quickly, while cloud alternatives require connectivity.
The 128GB model has more modest storage
The 128GB configuration uses UFS 2.2, while Xiaomi lists UFS 4.1 for the 256GB and 512GB versions. The difference is not just room for photos: the storage type changes too. Keep that in mind if you often install large games or copy files.
A large, heavy body
The phone weighs 229.5g and is 8.65mm thick. That big battery has a trade-off: holding it in one hand for long periods will not suit everyone. Try it in your hand and pocket before buying.
