Pros
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic 46mm Bluetooth has a 1.34-inch Super AMOLED display with a 438 x 438 resolution and sapphire crystal. Always On Display lets you check the time and notifications without fully waking the screen.
The Samsung Exynos W1000, 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage support Wear OS apps and music stored on the watch. That is handy for workouts with Bluetooth headphones.
Built-in GPS records a run without your phone. Heart-rate, activity and sleep tracking help you follow daily habits, although these readings do not replace medical examinations.
Dual-frequency L1 and L5 GPS gives the watch more tools to track routes around buildings. Accuracy still depends on the surroundings and satellite reception.
The physical rotating bezel lets you scroll through menus and notifications without covering the display. The steel case gives it a more traditional watch feel.
How do we assess advantages and disadvantages?
Our editorial assessment draws on specifications, manufacturer documentation and available material about the model. It does not imply our own laboratory testing. We distinguish physical RAM from virtual expansion; features and box contents can vary by market. Reference prices are conversions; check the store for the final price of an offer.
