Vivo V30 Lite 4G — Disadvantages

Smartphone editorial team · Updated:

Cons

Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.

This version supports 4G, not 5G. It is adequate for calls, messaging and ordinary video streaming, but you cannot use a 5G connection even where your mobile operator offers coverage.

There is no dedicated telephoto camera in the listed setup. Zooming relies on digital cropping, so a high megapixel count on the main camera is not a substitute for optical zoom.

The port uses USB 2.0. That does not prevent fast charging, but transferring a large video library to a computer is slower than on USB 3 phones. Keep this in mind if you frequently move large files over a cable.

How do we assess advantages and disadvantages?

Our editorial assessment draws on specifications, manufacturer documentation and available material about the model. It does not imply our own laboratory testing. We distinguish physical RAM from virtual expansion; features and box contents can vary by market. Reference prices are conversions; check the store for the final price of an offer.
