Three useful perspectives
The main camera, ultrawide and dedicated 3× telephoto offer different ways to frame a subject. We like that the third camera serves a practical purpose. For travel, that is more interesting than adding a module merely to increase the count.
A big screen in a conventional body
The 6.7-inch AMOLED with refresh rates up to 120 Hz suits maps, reading and video. You need not choose a folding design to get screen space. We would consider the FE as a large everyday smartphone.
Protection and long software support
IP68 and a promise of seven OS generations make this interesting for long-term ownership. That does not guarantee identical performance seven years later, but it establishes a clear support horizon from launch.
