USB is a weak point
The S26 FE specifies USB 2.0. That is an unfortunate limitation for regularly transferring large videos by cable. Charging and data transfer are separate: a 45 W rating does not resolve this drawback.
A modest step from the S25 FE
Battery capacity and wired charging power have not increased. If last year’s FE suits you, we would identify a specific needed feature before replacing it. A newer processor alone does not transform every everyday action.
A large body and entry-level storage
The 76.9 mm width is not ideal for one-handed operation. Consider the 128 GB version against the size of your video collection. We would compare prices for the configuration actually needed, not the lowest advertised price.
