Pros
Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.
A large display without moving to Ultra
The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, with a 3120 × 1440 resolution and refresh rate up to 120 Hz, is a strength of the Plus. We prefer this format for maps, documents and video, provided its size suits the user. A large screen alone need not mean buying the most expensive model in the series.
No increase in weight
At 190 g and 7.3 mm thick, the phone strikes an appealing balance for a large device. Samsung has not increased the weight over the S25+. It is a sensible compromise for people who want screen space without the bulkiest possible handset.
Charging with or without a cable
There is 45 W wired charging and up to 20 W wireless charging. A compatible pad suits a desk, while a cable remains an option for a quicker top-up. Reaching the maximum ratings requires suitable accessories.
Familiar software can be a benefit
An owner upgrading from S25+ praises speed, interface and AI. We also value predictability: not everyone wants radical changes to an everyday phone. This supports the case for a comfortable transition, not a claim that every AI feature is useful.
