Samsung Galaxy S26+ — Disadvantages

Cons

Our editorial view of this model’s strengths and limitations.

An S25+ upgrade may feel underwhelming

The same owner noticed little difference after switching. The specification sheet helps explain that: dimensions and key battery figures repeat. We would not replace a working S25+ merely for a newer model number without a specific feature to justify it.

No leap in battery capacity or wired charging

A 4,900 mAh battery and 45 W charging are not bad in themselves, but neither increases over the S25+. If your main expectation is a larger battery or substantially faster cable charging, these figures do not deliver it.

One-handed use has its limits

A width of 75.8 mm and a 6.7-inch display have a downside. Reaching controls at the top may be awkward. We would try the phone in a shop rather than choose it solely for display quality.

Accessories add to the total cost

You need to buy a charging adapter separately if you do not already have a suitable one. Maximum wireless charging also requires compatible equipment. It makes sense to budget for the phone and charging setup together.
